January 25, 2016 in Online Marketing Weekly Roundup | No Comments

Welcome all! After a great weekend, hope you are ready to welcome a new week full of excitements and surprises. As usual we are here to add an extra sauce to your new week.

Our Senior SEO Analyst, Kribesh G.K. has come up with some of the last week’s buzzing news to wake you up & equip you with more power & knowledge to help you conquer the online world.

#1. 3 Tweaks to your PPC Strategy & the world will spin around you!

I know you have your eyes popping out after reading my title. Yes, dears, in fact, it’s true, all that it takes is 3 tweaks and you have a killer PPC Strategy ready. PPC aims at achieving bigger business goals. Columnist Jauff Baum in his latest article published in Search Engine Land discusses about these three steps that he uses in developing an effective PPC Strategy. Here, have a look at the three things that he emphasizes on:

  • Assessing the overall situation: The main objective is to create a PPC Strategy based on your business goals. Analyze what are the challenges that your business is undergoing and then craft a PPC strategy accordingly.

  • Develop a policy: Once you know what your business goals are the next thing is to develop a business policy that will help you to achieve these.

  • Create an action plan: Developing a set of initiatives that will help you to meet the above specified policy.

I would recommend you to try it out for your business as these are tried-and-proven strategies. I am planning to discuss about these with my team and get it implemented for our clients.

#2. Facebook unveils Audience Optimization, another new feature to attract publishers and marketers

The trend setter of the previous year and the people’s most preferred social media site of the day, Facebook are all set to create history again. We have witnessed a tremendous hike in the number of exciting features that Facebook has been launching recently. Again, Facebook has unveiled Audience optimization, yet another feature which is an organic tool. The main objective of this tool is to help publishers reach and engage their audiences on Facebook as described by Peter Roybal in his article.

Without any effort you can easily analyze what interests your people more and what prompts them to click. Also, it helps to find the relevancy of your post. It will help you to find out who is more likely to engage with it. Audience optimization on Facebook provides the following results:

  • Preferred Audience

  • Audience restrictions

  • Audience insights

#3. Have you been falling off the Search Engines? Then, here is something that you have not been doing right…

I have seen a number of SEO Analysts and webmasters complaining about their websites not ranking though they have done everything in their power to get it rank higher. But, there are some critical factors that most of them miss out. Will Kerschbaum of B2C mentions about these factors that people tend to miss out and gives some suggestions on how to resolve this.

Things like blogging are something that we can do but most of us either deliberately or not-so-deliberately miss out to do this. But, actually this is something that you can pay attention to simply and get it done quite often to increase your visibility over the search engines.
