Hello! Hope you are out of your Monday blues? While I’m still stuck with it and trying hard to get over with it. I thought I will just dig up something and cook for you something that is both sweet and spicy.
Trust me it will shake you up and you’ll freshen up to welcome a great week ahead. Try my recipe of Weekly Round-ups. Many tried and found my beacon of news based on the latest happenings from the world of SEO, Social Media, Tech and content marketing too delicious.
Ready? Let us get started then…
Here is the first one:
#1. Have you been Instagramming lately?
Instagram is found to be one of those social media sites that has played a great role in influencing people. And most businesses and marketers are using this platform to market their business.
But to add some cream to the cake, Instagram has released some tools to help you in your marketing efforts.
14 tools!
Now let me share a worst fear I have “Will Instagram oust Facebook in its attempt for customer satisfaction?”. Because 14 is not a small number, let us not underestimate the power of Instagram.

- Scheduling Tools
- Selling Tools

#2. Facebook Instant Articles to open up for all publishers globally:
So, how is that? I would like to do away with the statement that I made in #1. The truth is no one can beat Facebook.
Look at the awesomeness that it has come up with.
You don’t need to host a website or go behind others asking to publish your blog on their websites.
Facebook has it all.
You can now publish your complete article on Facebook and it will reach the people who mean to you.
Wait until April 21st, 2016 when you can start publishing articles on Facebook from anywhere at anytime.
The launch will be done at the Facebook F8 conference allowing publishers to publish Instant Articles.
Also, it is equipped with some tools that will help to make article publishing easier.
Features includes:
- Mobile friendly as the loading time for mobile will reduce.
- Publishers will be handed over the total control of the appearance of their article.
- You can also use the Web analytics system to track the traffic flow into your article.
There are more to it as written by Josh Roberts, the Product Manager at Facebook Media.
#3. When is the right time to run your Email Marketing Campaigns?
Now don’t give me that look of how can I talk about something that seems to be really impossible?
I can when it is true-and-tried out.
I have been coming up with something or the other related to Email Marketing in all of my previous round-ups.
If you have been brushing up through my recent round-ups, you might by now be very clear with why Email Marketing is one of the most important marketing strategies today.
But you cannot simply send some Emails and sit back and relax.
No one will even read your Emails and also you might be spammed, the second time you send a follow-up.
So, what time can you send an Email when the subscriber or anyone for that matter is likely to read through it?
Send it at a time when the recipient is most likely to open it. Honestly, I wasn’t cracking a joke here.
It is the truth.
Delphine Moulu of Relevant talks about a study reported by Adobe according to which most Americans spend time checking their Emails while watching TV, while on the phone or while on bed.
It is found that not all recipients engage in your Emails at the same time.
People are likely to open your Emails at different times. So, sending Emails to your prospect list randomly can cultivate better results rather than reaching out to them at the same time.
So what is the time?
You can get access to “this” time by using a number of tools that helps you to analyze visitor behavior. The kind of content that engages them and more.
Track user behavior and schedule your Email campaigns for a different time depending on how people treat each.
For more information on Email marketing and the timing, you can go through the article “How to Send your Email marketing Campaigns at the Right Time” on B2C.
Go through it and use the tactics. Drive your people to read it.
#4. Google is going to stop showcasing Ads on Right Side of Desktop Search Results:
Not again! What is happening to Google?
It is some good news for visitors. The annoying ads will not appear on the right side of Desktop Search Results Worldwide.
But businesses and marketers are going to pay the price.
Why Google? Why are you doing this?
Matt Mcgee of Search Engine Land reports that Google is doing this to make mobile searches will be more lightweight like the desktop searches.
Now Google has got a point there.
You will find ads only at the top and bottom of the page and maybe an additional ad as a bonus which makes it 4 instead of 3.

Now it is the time to embrace a greater change. We can foresee a massive emergence of virtual reality in the year 2016 and let us hope a new dawn awaiting in 2017 where everything will change.
Facebook is all ready to bombard the world of virtual reality with a plethora of experimentations.
